Getting out of the airport in Toronto
UP Express runs between Terminal 1 and Union Station in 28 minutes, every 15 minutes, from 05:27 to 00:54 out of Pearson on weekdays and from 06:24 at weekends and on holidays.
The station is inside Terminal 1, directly adjacent to the Terminal Link train that connects Terminals 1 and 3, so a Terminal 3 arrival rides the Link across first.
Published travel time is 28 minutes in each direction. Both the weekday and the weekend timetable are headed every 15 minutes, with a couple of the last late-night trips marked as 20-minute service.
Weekday first departures are 05:27 from Pearson and 04:55 from Union. Weekend and holiday service starts later, 06:24 from Pearson and 06:00 from Union. The last train leaves Pearson at 00:54 and Union at 01:00 every day, reaching Union at 01:22.
You can tap on with a PRESTO card, PRESTO in Apple or Google Wallet, or a contactless debit or credit card, and you must tap off with the same card or wallet or you are charged for a second trip. Adult contactless is C$9.25 against C$12.35 on a standard one-way ticket, and only adult fares are available when tapping debit or credit.
One Fare, which gives free transfers between the TTC and GO Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay and York Region Transit, does not include UP Express. The TTC's own 900 Airport Express from Kipling station on Line 2 is inside the Toronto fare zone and takes a single TTC fare, running roughly 05:30 to 02:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:15 to 02:15 on Sunday. Overnight routes 300A and 352 serve both terminals from about 02:00 to 05:00, seven days a week.
