Korea's major international airports, Incheon and Gimpo among them, have roaming centres run by the Korean networks. Besides roaming, they sell SIM cards and rent Wi-Fi eggs and smartphones.

The networks are KT, SK Telecom and LG U+, and each publishes its own roaming centre fees and locations.

A physical USIM card can also be bought at select convenience stores and retailers, or online in advance for pickup at the airport. CU, GS25, 7-Eleven and Emart24 sell them, but stock varies by branch.

Korean providers also sell eSIMs, bought online and set up with a QR code. Check that your phone supports eSIM first.

Free public Wi-Fi covers most public places, including airports, subway stations, train stations and some bus stops.
