Getting out of the airport in Jeddah
A Haramain high speed rail station sits inside the airport terminal and runs 06:30 to 00:30, so anything outside those hours is a road transfer.
The Haramain high speed rail Airport station is an integrated structure within the main terminal building at King Abdulaziz International Airport. The operator describes it as a transport hub connecting the terminal with high speed rail, buses, shuttles, taxis and car parking, so you do not leave the building to reach the train.
Airport station hours are daily 06:30 to 00:30. A night arrival or a pre-dawn pick-up falls outside those hours, so plan a road transfer instead.
Al-Sulimaniyah station is in the An Nassim district, which the operator lists as 20 km from the airport, and it opens daily 07:30 to 23:30. That is an hour tighter at each end than the airport station, so check the last departure before committing to a late dinner in town.
If you miss your train the ticket is invalidated and the cost is not refunded, so build in margin rather than booking the tightest connection.
