Eating near the crew hotels in Abu Dhabi

Mina Zayed port district is the market-food area: fish souk plus fruit-and-veg souk, haggling is the norm.

Mina Zayed (the old port, Al Mina district) is the city's market-eating area: the Fish Souk sits on the quayside where boats unload their catch, and the Al Mina Fruit and Vegetable Souk is across the road. Haggling over the day's catch is standard practice.

Mina Market (Souk Al Mina) has operated since the early 1970s and covers seafood and fresh produce — one district, several markets, per the tourism board's souk guide.

For Emirati food specifically, the tourism board points to the Mina markets for seafood and produce and to heritage-style venues (streetside cafes, desert camps, dhow dining) rather than any single restaurant district.
