Notes and caveats

CEILING ONLY, NOT A RANGE, tax-free in the UAE, and housing comes on top. Contract currency AED, converted at the Central Bank of the UAE rate of AED 3.6725 to USD 1 (published 21 September 2026). Etihad's Cabin Crew job posting says: 'Tax-free salary: Earn up to AED 10,000 per month, including additional pay for flight hours and layovers, depending on your roster.' AED 10,000 times 12 is AED 120,000. No floor, basic salary or average is published, so min is set equal to the advertised ceiling rather than estimated downward, and crew on lighter rosters earn less by an unpublished amount. The ceiling already includes flying and layover pay. Housing is provided in kind and is not in it: the posting lists 30 days of hotel accommodation on arrival, then fully furnished shared accommodation, and free transport between accommodation, training and the airport. Etihad's careers page gives no pay figure; the posting is the page its Apply now and Register buttons open. Do not read this ceiling against the Emirates average as like for like.
