Ride-hailing in Tokyo

Apps dispatch licensed taxis to marked stands that are not where the taxi rank is, and at Narita the fixed fare is the headline number.

Haneda moved app-hailed pickups off the arrivals kerb. Dedicated app-hailing stands opened at 05:00 on 22 October 2025, near Exit 7 on the 2nd floor departure level at Terminal 1 and near Exit 2 on the 2nd floor at Terminal 2, with the Terminal 3 stand on the 8th floor of the P5 car park. The airport warns that the boarding point can move with congestion and tells you to check it in the app.

Ordinary Haneda taxi ranks are on 1F of the arrivals lobby at Terminals 1 and 2. At Terminal 3 the airport tells you to follow the taxi guidance from the 2F or 3F access hall down to the second lane on 1F.

Haneda publishes a flat-rate taxi covering routes between the airport, Tokyo proper and Kanagawa Prefecture. Toll fees are charged on top of the flat rate, and standard metered rates apply in some areas rather than the flat fare. The airport publishes no prices for it and names no app.

Narita's fixed fares run across six zones, A to F, from 23,500 to 38,500 yen depending on the zone and on whether you travel via the Keiyo Road or the Bayshore Freeway. Highway tolls are extra, a late night and early morning surcharge applies between 22:00 and 05:00, and the meter is used instead if you choose a non-expressway route.
